| The Giraffe was quite
enthusiastic. "You'll see how I can turn myself into a rabbit!" She took her pink magic potion and... just imagine! In the presence of the astonished rabbit, the Giraffe's ears started growing, becoming big and hairy. The neck became small and grey. The body lost its spots and became strangely coloured. The tail, longer and longer, agitating, drove away the flies that tried to come near. The rabbit was rather amused and laughed. "Well done, Giraffe! You're quite a rabbit!"
The Giraffe, I mean, the animal she had turned into, wanted to reply, but it was surprised by the sound of its own voice: "Hee-haw! Hee-haw!" You won't believe this! The Giraffe scientist's invention had failed and she had transformed herself into a donky! Such a shame! The Giraffe trotted back home and hid until the magic potion effects disappeared. Well, the rabbit had such a good time as he arrived at his hole! He was still laughing loudly and told his children the anecdote of the Giraffe who wanted to be a rabbit and ended to turn herself into a donkey! |
