exercise in the wood. As she was a real athlete she put
on her sneakers and wore her shorts. The Giraffe was running, very happy and care-free, when a rabbit crossed her way, jumping over and over. "Good

the sudden encounter. "These rabbits are so
ill-bred! They simply ignore the traffic regulations in
the savannah. There is no doubt I have priority and,
therefore, I must be the first one to pass." The rabbit, who had already heard some anecdotes about the Giraffe, answered calmly: "As a matter of fact I don't know anything about that... I'm going to my hole to cook my children's lunch. Excuse me!" And the rabbit tried to pass. "Stop!", yelled the Giraffe. "Just because you jump and have big ears you think you are the best! Wait a moment and I'll teach you something!" The Giraffe, who happened to be a scientist, as you know, went to her laboratory. There, she mixed ingredients, experimented new recipes and invented a pink magic potion. Finally, she returned to meet the rabbit, who was running and jumping his way home. ......... |
